A round stoneware sponge holder built to keep your sponge high and dry. Raised ridges lift the sponge off the base so air gets underneath, and a channel cut through the ridges leads to a drainage hole at the bottom edge so water runs out instead of pooling.
This handmade ceramic sponge holder measures roughly 4.5-5.5" in diameter and is sized to fit round sponges, including Scrub Daddy® and Scrub Mommy® (sponge not included). Set it at the edge of your sink with the drainage hole over the basin, and the water drains straight into the sink. Dishwasher safe, so the holder gets as clean as your dishes.
Wheel-thrown in my McKean County, PA studio using brown speckled stoneware. This is my own original design, and each one is thrown and carved by hand, so the size, ridges, and glaze vary from piece to piece.
