Smoky Blue Paw Print wraps the mug in a dusty, mineral blue that shifts and speckles across the surface — part smoke, part stone, part something the kiln decided on its own. Tucked into the glaze are hand carved paw prints, each one cut directly into the clay before firing. No stamps, no shortcuts. Just a carving tool and patience. Lots of patience. 

Wheel-thrown from brown speckled stoneware, this handmade pottery mug stands approximately 3.75-4.25” tall — a generous, comfortable size with a slightly more upright form that feels sturdy in the hand. The dusty blue glazed interior carries the color all the way through.

Each mug is one of a kind. The glaze shifts between blue, gray, and warm sandy tones depending on how the kiln moved through it, so no two will ever be identical — and the paw prints will always be a little different from each other, because that’s what hand carved means.
