Large Spoon Rest

A wide stoneware spoon rest with a gentle swirl in the middle.  It's a bigger version of my regular spoon rest, made for the large spoons and spatulas that hang off the edge of a smaller one.

This handmade ceramic spoon rest measures roughly 5.5" across, big enough to hold a large cooking spoon or spatula and catch the drips before they hit your stovetop. It also works as a tea bag dish, a soap dish, or a catch-all by the sink. Dishwasher safe.

Wheel-thrown in my McKean County, PA studio using brown speckled stoneware. Each spoon rest shows unique variation in the glaze, especially where it thins over the rim and meets the raw clay.

Clay: Brown speckled stoneware

Glaze: solid glaze color, exposed clay base

Snow is a cool white. Lace is a warm/off white.

Size: 5.5" diameter
