Fernwood Mug —14 oz

Fernwood, hand-carved into soft speckled white stoneware, traces climbing vine and leaf work down the body of the mug — each line pressed by hand, so no two carvings fall exactly the same way. The warm brown speckle breaks through the white glaze along every groove, catching the light differently depending on how the mug is turned.

Wheel-thrown from brown speckled stoneware, this handmade mug holds 14 oz and stands approximately 4” tall — a generous, everyday size with a sturdy handle built for real use. The interior carries the same soft white glaze straight through.

Each mug is one of a kind. The carving is done freehand, so the depth and spacing of the leaves will vary slightly from piece to piece. That’s the nature of handmade stoneware pottery.
