Elderberry Mug—14 oz

A stoneware mug glazed in a dusky, deep purple, the color of ripe elderberries. A drift of smoky blue-green settles across the shoulder, dark speckles break through the surface, and a thin band of raw clay shows at the foot.

This handmade ceramic mug holds about 14 oz and stands roughly 4.5" tall, with a rounded belly and a slightly narrowed neck. The handle has a smooth glazed grip, and the mug is sturdy enough for daily use. Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Wheel-thrown in my McKean County, PA studio using brown speckled stoneware. Each mug shows unique variation in the glaze pattern, especially where the blue-green drifts into the purple and the speckles come through.

Glaze: Elderberry (deep purple with smoky blue-green variation) + exposed clay base
