Dusk Ridge, painted in slate-blue and deep plum, sweeps down the upper half of the mug in loose, unhurried streaks before settling into warm speckled stoneware below — like a mountain ridge caught in that last hour of light, when the sky goes violet and the peaks turn to shadow. Brown speckle breaks through at the glaze’s edge, keeping the color rooted in something solid and earthbound.

Wheel-thrown from brown speckled stoneware, this handmade pottery mug holds 14 oz and stands approximately 4-1/4” tall — a substantial, well-balanced size that feels good to hold. The glazed interior continues the dusk palette all the way through.
