Aurora Mug —16 oz

Aurora opens in deep magenta at the rim, bleeding into iridescent blush and a thin band of aqua before dissolving into warm speckled stoneware below — like watching a northern lights display find the horizon and let go. The glaze moves freely here, dripping and pooling where it wants, giving each mug a slightly different version of the same dramatic story.

Wheel-thrown from brown speckled stoneware, this large handmade pottery mug holds 16 oz and stands approximately 4.5” tall with a generous, rounded form that feels comfortable in the hand. The deep magenta glazed interior carries the color all the way through.

Each mug is one of a kind. The kiln decides exactly how far the magenta bleeds and where the aqua surfaces, so no two Auroras will ever look quite the same. That’s the nature of handmade stoneware pottery.
